Description
The American Indian Learning Resource Center (AILRC) is a safe and welcoming space on the UMD campus. Students from every college and program can gather here to build community and access information and resources.
The center exists to empower American Indian & Alaska Native students to take charge of their educational experience and succeed in their college journey. Through its activities, the AILRC also enriches the cultural and social environment of the UMD campus.
How Does Your Department or Program Support Native American Students?
The center exists to empower American Indian & Alaska Native students to take charge of their educational experience and succeed in their college journey. Through its activities, the AILRC also enriches the cultural outreach, Academic and social environment of the UMD campus. We are secondary staff advisors that help the indigenous students from the first day they arrive on campus until graduation as they walk the stage to receive that college diploma as a degree cannot never be taken away from them. Were their go to office, their home away from home.
