Description

Lynnes Welding Training (LWT) offers a full time, 16 week comprehensive training course on the four main (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) hand welding processes. This course is intended to prepare students of all skill levels to enter a career in welding. The course does not require general education or liberal arts requirements.

What Job Assistance Does Your Program Provide?

Career services covers a selection of student supports, including:

  • Student tours of industry

  • Information sessions with various unions where welding is a core job competency

  • Resume writing and mock interviews

  • Direct introductions and access to a variety of our industry partners and recruiters

Post graduation, career services continues based on student needs and includes:

  • Job searches

  • Resume updates and mock interview practice

  • Best practices in company communication and coaching

Our expectation is for students to be industry ready at the end of the program and employed in there industry thereafter.

What Supports or Outreach Does Your Program Offer Specifically for Native American Students?

Lynnes Welding Training has been approved and accepted the Minnesota American Indian Scholarship Program through the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.
